Most Awaited Movies To Be Released in 2014

Kollywood is grandly welcoming 2014 New year with anticipated combos in Tamil film industry. After successful 2013, this year is expected to be colorful with as many superhits in Kollywood.

Tamil movie lovers are sure to have a good time with biggies such as Kochadaiiyaan and Vishwaroopam 2 gearing up to hit screens in April. At the same time theaters in Tamil Nadu are set to welcome the successful run of Tamil movies in 2014 with two superstars Vijay and Ajith Kumar - slugging it out with their big-budget outings Veeram and Jilla respectively. Tamanna starring Ajith's Veeram and Jilla featuring Vijay, Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal and Mahat Raghavendra are slated for a grand release on January 10th for Pongal.

As Just 10 Media reported its viewers, top notch actors and directors in Kollywood are set to woo Tamil cinema fans with biggest blockbusters and BO counts in 2014. Fascinating combo of Ajith with Gautham Menon, AR Muragadoss-Vijay, Dhanush-KV Anand's Anegan and Surya-Lingusamy's film with Samantha and last but not least Shankar directing Chiyaan Vikram's Ai with Amy jackson are few much awaited Tamil films in the know that are still under production.

It is known that 2013 was a great year for recent newcomers Siva Karthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil filmdom, who managed to score hat-trick hits with every release of theirs. While the former scored three blockbusters - Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Ethir Neechal and Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam, the latter delivered hits in Soodhu Kavvum and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Bala Kumara.

The duo are working hard to acquire similar success rate in 2014. Rummy and Pannaiyarum Padminiyum are the two highly expected films of Vijay Sethupathi that are ready for release in the first half of 2014, whereas Siva Karthikeyan hopes to continue his winning streak with Hansika starring Maan Karate and Taana.

Suriya Sivakumar hopes to recreate his Singam 2 success with yet-to-be-titled Lingusamy's project, while his brother Karthi, who had two flops and one hit in 2013 will desperately seek a hit with his next film with debutant Ranjith.

Romantic-thriller Vikram's Ai, which has been on the floors for nearly two years is one of the most anticipated releases of 2014. Ai is likely to lock horns with Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan and Kamal haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 slated for Tamil New Year release.
