Varun, Ileana & Nagris's Main Tera Hero Collected 6.60 Crores

Varun Dhawan's 'hero-giri' in "Main Tera Hero" earned the entertainer a good opening of Rs. 6.60 crore net on its first day of release in the country.

Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the movie, which released Friday also stars Ileana D'cruz and Nargis Fakhri.

The actors had gone out of their way to promote the film, the songs of which received a good fan following prior to the movie's release. 

A total David Dhawan-style masala entertainer, the film is being loved for its comedy and acting by Varun.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta had taken to his Twitter page Friday to share feedback on the response to the film in the market.

"'Main Tera Hero' morning show at Sikar in Rajasthan house full! That says it all.  Nothing more needs to be said now.  Public verdict is clear," he had posted. (IANS)

Main Tera Hero is a 2014 Hindi romantic action-comedy film, directed by David Dhawan and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor for Balaji Motion Pictures. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Ileana D'Cruz, and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles.

Pricipal photography for the movie began on 30th May 2013, filming started on 05 th July 2013 and completed by 15th October. The film released on 4 April 2014. It is the remake of the Telugu film Kandireega. The official trailer of the film was released online on 23 January 2014 with presence of the main cast.
