Kamal Haasan is On The Role of Mohanlal in Drishyam (Tamil)

Padma Bhushan Kamal Haasan is reported to be reprising Mohanlal's role from the latter's recent Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam opposite Meena.

Kollywood mongers have it that Kamal happened to see Mohanlal's Drishyam and the star has appreciated the team after he is highly impressed with the film. Earlier there were reports that stated Chiyaan Vikram might play Mohanlal's role in the Tamil remake of Drishyam.

However, there is no development on its front. Producer Suresh Balaji holds the Drishyam Tamil remake rights and the official announcement is yet to be made. Meanwhile, actor-director Sripriya will direct the Drishyam Telugu version featuring Victory Venkatesh in the lead.
