Actress Shruti Haasan to Sue D DAY Director For Tamil Version

Actress Shruti Haasan is peeved by the actions of the team of D-Day. The film is all set to release in Tamil in the name of Dawood. An aggrieved Shruti has said that she is disassociating herself from the release of the movie in Tamil as it is being done without her consent or approval. She added that it is a clear breach of contract and as soon as the paperwork is done she will be initiating legal action in this issue.  

D-Day was an action spy thriller directed by Nikhil Advani and featured Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Huma Qureshi and Sandeep Kulkarni. In the movie, Shruti essayed the bold role of  a Karachi based prostitute and the intimate scenes involving Arjun Rampal were much discussed and debated. The movie released in 2013.

The movie D-Day was produced by DAR motion pictures, Emmay Entertainment.
