Samanth is an Indian actress who mostly appears in Tamil and Telugu movies. She was born in 28 April 1987 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Her first devut in Telugu movie opposite to Naga Chaitanya in Ye Mayaa Chesave directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon in 2010. Her first debut in Tamil is being Vinnayai Thaandi Varuvaya (VTV)under the direction of Gautham Vasudev Menon in 2010 which is Tamil version of Ye Mayaa Chesave, But she did only a cameo role in Tamil Version. Her first film as lead role in Baana Kathadi opposite with Aadharva in 2010.
She won the best female debut award at Film Fare Awards - South for Ye Mayaa Chesave.
She also nominated for Best Actress at Film Fare Awards - South for Ye Mayaa Chesave.
She nominated for Best Actress award in Film Fare Awards Telugu 2011 for Dookudu.
She won the the Best Actress award in Vijay Award 2012 for Neethane En Pon Vasantham.
She was born for the Telugu and Malay Couple, her father from Telugu and her mother from Malayalam.
Her language fluency is good in Tamil and English. She done her schooling at Chennai in St Stephens Matriculation School and Her Higher secondary studies at Holy Angles Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School T Nagar Chennai. She also dis her college at Chenni in Stella Maris College Chennai.
