With this amount, a 35 year-old smoker could get a life insurance cover policy around Rs. 1.27crores for 15 years" said Rituraj Bhattacharya, who heads market management for Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance. But a non smoker of the same age would get a cover of Rs. 1.96 crores, a massive difference almost 55%, he added.
