List of Tourist Place in Kerala ( Around Ernakulam District)

Bastion Bungalow : It is but in way back of 1667 AD in Ind-European style.
Its is named after the Stromberg Bastion of the old, Dutch Fort. It is located in the Ernakulam District (Kerala, India)

Bhoothathankettu : It is dam site with boating aera is situated in a vast forest area. It is also a famous picnic spot with nearby of Salim Ail Bird Sanctuary. It is located at 50 Kms north east from Ernakulam Town.

Historical Museum : It is an important place of Kerala history through Sculptures. Greeting the visitors by statue of Parasurama, the mythology safe who is said to have created Kerala. It is located at 6 Kms away form Ernakulam Town at Edappally.

Marine Drive : It is considered as one of the most beautiful place in Kochi City. The marine walk is one the main thing for the local peoples.  It also give scenic view of backwater and the harbor form there. It is located in Ernakulam Town.

Bolghatty : Its is a Palace built in the period of Dutch on 1744 AD. Later it has become the British Resident of Cochin. Today there is a Hotel Managed by Kerala Tourist Department. There you can enjoy a lovely view of harbor and the Arabian Sea. It is located about 3 Kms form Eranakulam town by Boat.
