 Jigarthanda is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film has Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead and is being produced by Kathiresan. The supporting cast includes Soodhu Kavvum's Bobby Simha and Karuna, Guru Somasundaram of Aaranya Kaandam and actor-director Pratap Pothen. The film is a city-based action drama. The shoot of the film started on June 12 in Madurai. The film's shoot came to an end after two months in Madurai on July 26, 2013. The first look teaser of The film was released on February 9, 2014 which received positive response and got more than 0.3 million views in 3 days. The first look poster was released on February 12, 2014 and it too received positive response.
