The much-awaited trailer of David Dhawan-directed Main Tera Hero is finally out and as expected the promo bears all the trademarks of the filmmaker.

Bright and colourful sets, pretty ladies, a crazy hero and some smart-ass dialogues — you name it and the film has it all.

That besides, Varun Dhawan emerges as the 'real hero' in the film, who reminds us of the evergreen Govinda, the blue-eyed boy of the Dhawan camp. Remember the series of 'No 1' movies from Dhawan's stable.

Varun even spoofs Ranbir Kapoor's proposal scene from Barfi as he tries to woo Ileana D’Cruz in the film. Ranbir too had gone down the same road when he spoofed Salman Khan in his film Besharam.

While the promo does bring back some fond memories from the 90s, it remains to be seen whether such crazy comedies still appeal to the audiences today.

A typical Bollywood masala flick, the film features Nargis Fakhri and  Ileana D’Cruz.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji productions, Main tera Hero will hit the screens on April 4.
