Ranbir Kapoor Pairs Up with Parineeti Chopra in Karan Johar's Movie

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who’s busy shooting for his talk show 'Koffee with Karan' at the moment, has started working on the script of his new project. If sources are to be believed Karan Johar’s next directorial project may have Ranbir Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.

KJo's last full fledged directorial piece was 'Student of the Year', released last year. The flick did well at the box office and since then KJo has been away from direction.

Initially, the filmmaker was working on an Indo-Pak partition story, but he denied the same in a recent interview.

“I am not doing the Partition love story at the moment. I am going to start work on another film, which I will direct. At the moment, I am writing a script for it and once things get finalise I will announce it,” he said.

According to a source close to him, “Karan is still writing the script for his next and most probably he has signed Ranbir for the same project. KJo has been scouting for a new face opposite the Kapoor lad and he is seriously considering Parineeti for the same.”
