Deepika Padukone is an Indian Actress and Model. Who appears in Hindi Movies. She was Born in 5th January 1986 to Badminton player Prakash Padukone, she chose to become an actress.

Deepika started her career form her Kannada Movie in 2006 "Aishwarya". The following year, she played the lead female actress in "Om Santhi Om", the film proved a major success and earned the Film Fare Award for Best Female Debut. Later she have given many hits like Love Aaj Kal in 2009, Housefull in 2010, Cocktail in 2012, Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani in 2013.

Deepika was born in Denmark. Her father Prakash Padukone, is a former Badminton player and her mother is a travel agent. Her father was in training at Denmark later her family moved to Bangalore in Karnataka. Deeipka has a Younger sister named Anisha was born on 2 Feb 1991.

Deppika attended her schooling at Sophia High School in Banglore, and completed her Pre university studies at Mount Carmel College Bangalore. She also a State level player in Badminton at her high school. She had her graduation on BA Sociology from IGNOU.
