SamMobile comes with Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update. If you are the proud owner of the top selling Android handset Samsung’s Galaxy S4, I am going to give you a piece of good news. Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update is finally here and though it is not the official version from either Google or for that matter the Korean tech giant Samsung, nonetheless it seems an excellent option if you want to go for it.
Ever since the launch of Google Nexus 5, the new flagship from the search giant almost everyone who owns S4 seems very disappointed due to the fact that the handset has still not got the official version of Android 4.4 update. Google Nexus 5 launched a few month ago was introduced in the market with Android 4.4 and so the Samsung fans across the world have been feeling let down. Samsung’s flagship handset has been the highest selling handset in the history of Android smartphones and the company has sold around 60 million handsets. But this is still around 40 million units short of what it had dreamt to have sold by now.
But now you should feel reassured as things are looking rather good as far as this Android update is concerned. A report by SamMobile suggests that the update has already been leaked and that the update is available for download for the Android 4.4 users across the world. The update was being impatiently awaited by the Android and Galaxy S4 fans for months when it was launched by Google. There are very few handsets at the moment that have been updated with the latest Android version. The first handset to have been launched with Android 4.4 KitKat was Google Nexus 5 and there is a long list of other handsets that will be getting the update pretty soon.
Not just Galaxy S4 owners even other top Sammy smartphone owners should be happy that the new firmware update is on its way. Several versions of Samsung’s top selling handset Galaxy S4 will get the Android 4.4 version besides many handsets from LG, HTC and Sony. The different Galaxy S4 versions include Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S4 Active. Other Sammy phones in line for the Android 4.4 KitKat update include Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Mega, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Note II, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 & Tab 2. A report from SamMobile has now suggested that the Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Ace 3, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Fame, Galaxy Ace 2, and the Galaxy Fresh are the devices which they are testing the new OS version on, so it would be a possibility for these devices to run the Android 4.4 KitKat, not very soon though. But we will have to wait to get the OS onto these handsets.
The latest Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 Kitkat firmware update comes thanks to SamMobile. A report while talking about the latest development regarding the Android 4.4 launch on Galaxy S4 suggests that Sam Mobile has come out with a test Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware for the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505, Snapdragon 600). Some reports suggest that the update from SamMobile is simply awesome and stable. A report by Android Authority says that the blog got the update from some insider and SamMobile guys have tested it for at least 5 days. As per Android Authority the update is rather dependable.
