Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Hits Dabangg 2 in Box Office

Ranbir Kapoor's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which released on May 31 2013, is on its way to enter the 100 crores club of Bollywood soon. The movie bagged a whopping Rs.62.75 crores in its opening weekend, a sum being said to be more than what the movie Dabangg 2 earned.

On its opening day, the Yeh Deewani Hao Deewani earned Rs.19.45 crore, and on Saturday and Sunday, the movie made Rs.20.16 crore and Rs.22.5 crore, respectively.

Ranbir's last super hit - Barfi - too went on to mint Rs. 100 crores within few days of its release. But in case of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir and Deepika's on-screen paring, along with smart marketing they contributed to the movie's success.

So Ranbir is the next superstar here to challenge the Bollywood Box office.
